Beginners Wheel Throwing 6 weeks Workshop (Evenings July 8th - August 12th 2025)
You and up to five other students will explore the fundamentals of Wheel Throwing in a welcoming environment. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
- We will primarily focus on establishing the essential foundations of wheel throwing and developing basic skills to understand clay behavior and how to work with it.
- Each class session lasts for two and a half hours, with half an hour dedicated to cleaning the workstations and tools used in the process.
- You can expect to create four to six finished pieces.
- You won't need to buy anything else; we will provide you with the necessary tools.
- We will use one of our available glazes for each of your pieces. However, if at the end of the workshop you decide to experiment with commercial glazes on some of your pieces, those costs are not included in the workshop fee.
- In addition, you'll have studio practice time once a week -either Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.- throughout the workshop.
- Our goal is to make this course a meaningful experience for you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Please consider before enrolling that if a class is missed, we’re unable to provide makeup sessions. Due to our limited capacity, unfurtunately, we cannot offer refunds in case of cancellation.
The course begins on July 8th and runs on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm, concluding on August 12th 2025.
